Wednesday - Commerce Department reports on factory orders; Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan presents the central bank's semiannual report on monetary policy before the House Financial Services.

Thursday - Commerce Department reports on retail sales and business inventories; Labor Department reports on weekly jobless claims; Freddie Mac reports on mortgage rates. Greenspan testifies about monetary policy before the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee.

Friday - Commerce Department reports on international trade.
